A reportable road traffic collision, as defined by law, involves a mechanically-propelled vehicle on a road or in a public space that results in:
- Injury or damage to any person other than the vehicle’s driver.
- Damage to another vehicle, other than the one responsible for the collision.
- Damage to property located on, attached to, growing in, or otherwise part of the land where the road is situated.
