  • What happens if my force requires a data entity that does not exist in the Standard Data Model currently?

    • As data in the Standard Data Model is populated from Single Online Home, a change request would need to be made to the National Digital Team to request the additional field be incorporated in a future release of the SOH service.
    • Where new data entities are added, where there is a National POLE standard for the data entity in question, the programme will adopt that standard where possible.
    • Else, the programme will consider the following standards in hierarchical order:
      • a) Other British or ISO standards
      • b) PND / Home Office or other Criminal Justice Standards
      • c) Single Online Home schema / Force Record Management Systems schemas
  • What "force identifier" am I?

    • Each client force has a unique "force identifier". This can be obtained through the National Digital Team.
  • What "brand" am I?

    • Each client force has a unique "brand". This can be obtained through the National Digital Team.
  • How do I raise integration issues?

    • Escalation paths are detailed in section 10 of this documentation. Full details are found in section 8.5 of the iHub Offering Description Documentation (ODD).
  • What does "Standard API" refer to?

    • Standard API refers to a force-hosted API that conforms to the specification outlined in this documentation. "Standard" is a reference to this being a standardised, or templated, approach to integrating with iHub.
  • When will further Single Online Home services be integrated with Standard Data Model / Standard API?

    • All Single Online Home services will be integrated with Standard Data Model / Standard API. This will be done in line with client demand.
  • How do I provide a “Client ID” and “Secret” for my POST endpoint?

    • This can be provided during the project to the relevant member of the National Digital Team.
